This portrait has been a fun journey. Every step of the way has been fun. The drawing went great and that first night of painting, while working at The Woodlands Art Gallery, was just perfect. I thought the painting looked like the commission subject from the start. The only challenge was capturing that enigmatic smile. I think I caught it. Those of you who know Lynne, what do you think? And remember, the portrait is a surprise...DON'T tell hubby!
