After a wonderful trip to Portland to see my daughter and son-in-law, Rebecca & Brent, it's back to painting. And with a two excellent spring shows coming up, I really have to finish these paintings. Today I worked all day on "Arrivederci Venezia" and I think it's starting to look like what's in my head.This layer is a lot of glazing in the mysterious darkest darks with flashes of opaque whites. Stay tuned.
