I've been calling this painting "Flowers and Jelly Beans" but that doesn't really work. This 28" x 20" painting is coming along nicely and I've discovered I really enjoy painting jelly beans. I'm still in a kind of dead color stage. In this stage I normally wouldn't use any yellow where I'm actually using three yellows, Light Ochre, Cadmium, and Lemon. But I still plan to glaze with an earth green and go from there. I'm pretty sure that even after I've basically finished the painting, I will glaze in spots to add depth and shadow.
OK, give me some names.
Shep's new Still Life still needs a title
