This painting needs a title!

I'm almost through with this portrait and I still can't decide on a title. I've been calling it "Where are you?" and that's not working for me. Help!

I've been working on skin tone trying to soften the harsh reds and yellow's. do you all like the current look or did you like the painting better before?

  1. "A Hard Life!"

    Bob,

This girl is the spitting image of a young lady who worked for me. She was a former drug addict and had been divorced several times. She wouldn't accept help, but kept on a downward spiral. Lost track of her years ago, but that image is chilling!!!

My name is Bob Shepherd, but when I paint I'm known as "Shep". I love to paint people. Happy people. Sad people. People dancing. People in contemplation. Old people. Young people. Lately I've gotten into painting new things and I'm enjoying the challenge. Flowers and still life's have been fun. My blog is here to show you what I'm doing and how I'm doing it. If I'm doing your commission you can follow the progress of your "PortraitbyShep". If you'd like me to do your portrait please notify me through the blog.
