"Warnemunde Lighthouse" by Shep is finished

After many starts and stops I'm finally very satisfied with "Warnemunde Lighthouse".  Donna and I were on our Baltic Sea cruise and were sailing out of Warnemunde, Germany with the lighthouse and flagpole right there outside our balcony.  It was around 3 days before the longest day of the year so the sunset took forever and was constantly changing.  The clouds were very heavy and dark, but the sun was very bright and lingered above the horizon giving us the most amazing array of colors.  I took maybe a hundred photos and tried to capture everything I saw and remembered.  I hope you like it.  It will be at the Downtown Art Gallery in Brenham this morning.  30" x 24", Oil on Canvas, $795
