It seems as if it's been weeks since I last posted. Well, it has been, but not because I haven't been painting. We did take a great vacation to Hilton Head, and since getting back I've never painted as much. However, due to the nature of the new painting, it's going to take a while to finish.
My usual method of painting will be slightly altered for this painting. After the drawing, which was my most detailed yet, most of my painting has been Ala Prima. I've decided to glaze the painting then concentrate on extensive touchups with darker glazes to finish. It should be fun.
Shep's still painting!
