Every artist, it seems, at some point in time does a "Wine Bottle" painting or a "Floral" painting. And now it's my turn, and I'm doing both. Actually I've been wanting to do a Still Life and a Floral for a long time and just couldn't find the right things to do.
I really like the Still life group, and hope everyone else likes it also. It's 12" x 17". On the Floral, I've been taking pictures of flowers for years, but just could never decide on one to start with. I think I found the right on. I took the picture at Butchart Gardens in Victoria, B.C. Does anybody know what type flower it is? I don't.
The plan is to have both finished in time for the Show February 6th.
